Responsibilities
  • Partnering with the Post-issue Experience Owner to define the future state experience and plan for near-term outcomes and initiatives
  • Guiding various initiatives through implementation to ensure they stay aligned with the overall experience plan
  • Consulting with project teams across the Annuity and Shared portfolios to ensure that we deliver an optimal experience for partners and members
  • Researching competitor experiences and best practices and developing recommendations
  • Researching current state experience of our partners and members across channels and product types and developing recommendations
  • Representing the Annuity Experience Team on various committees to help better inform our post-issue experience
  • Serves as a technical professional in the analysis of pricing and design features, product, and profitability
  • Actively finds opportunities for improvement and makes solution recommendations
  • Provides support and guidance related to product design and management
  • Provides high level, strategic input on key initiatives addressing product strategy and profitability objectives
  • Participates and may lead new business development and implementation projects
  • Works with Product Directors to predict needs and issues
  • Identifies and evaluates business opportunities
  • Partners with leadership to provide a regular assessment of financial results and recommendations to increase future profitability
  • Investigates and assists in development of new tools and technology to improve product performance
  • Reviews and analyzes highly technical and sophisticated market information on benchmark competitors

Nationwide has reported record financial results for 2025, entering its centennial year with total adjusted capital of $32.8 billion, the highest in its 100-year history.
