Amentum is now hiring for several Information Technology Technician (All Levels) – CSIA positions in support of the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment CSIA core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of CSIA and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within CSIA.

The candidate will work closely with the client to perform the following:
- Installs, tests, and services a variety of computer software, hardware, data network, and telecommunications devices, as well as other peripheral equipment related to information technology.
- Assesses and corrects problems with computers, peripheral equipment, and communication hardware and software.
- Applies software patches and performs hardware and peripheral equipment improvements, upgrades, and repairs to ensure all systems are up-to-date.
- Monitors and maintains desktop systems, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
- Provides help desk support and technical assistance to system users, escalating issues as necessary.
- Gathers and maintains inventory of IT equipment, such as desktops, laptops, mobility devices, etc., as well as the parts and materials to repair these devices.
- Coordinates with vendors as necessary to resolve issues with IT systems, software, or hardware.
- Documents instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
- Records computer processes, procedures, hardware and software information.
- Presents equipment and policy training to staff and end users.
- Researches and analyzes new technology, techniques, threats and industry best practices to optimize efficiency and usability and minimize vulnerabilities.
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or other related discipline.
- 1-10+ years of experience
- 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.
Compensation:
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $45,000 - $150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
