Requirements
  • Graduate of an ultrasonography program and/or registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Registration in echocardiography and vascular ultrasound (RCS or RDCS and RVT or RVS) Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required
Responsibilities
  • Join the Cardiovascular Imaging Lab and become part of a dynamic team that provides an optimal cardiovascular imaging experience.
  • Work in an environment that utilizes cutting-edge technology and procedures as part of a robust structural heart program including transcatheter aortic and mitral valve replacements, Watchman and MitraClip implantation and alcohol septal ablation procedures.
  • Collaborate with other health care professionals to provide a positive experience to patients, families, and visitors.
  • Work at a variety of locations including a Level 1 Trauma Center, a critical care facility, and several clinics in the Madison area.
  • Operate within UW Health Cardiovascular Imaging Lab that is accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (IAC) in Echo and Vascular Imaging.
  • Provide 32-hour work weeks with day shift, Monday–Friday, plus weekend rotation at University Hospital as required, with on-call responsibilities and rotations.
  • Potential eligibility for an $8,000 sign-on bonus pro-rated based on FTE and may include weekend differential and on-call pay; relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants.

Desired Qualifications
  • Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited ultrasonography training program or related field
  • Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasonography, Radiology, Biological Sciences or a relevant health sciences field
  • Two years of cardiovascular imaging experience
