Job Description Summary
Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Maxillofacial Prosthodontic Division of the Department of Otolaryngology/ Head & Neck Surgery Department is seeking a driven Maxillofacial Prosthodontist for a full-time clinical assistant professor position.
Applicants must have completed a residency in postgraduate prosthodontics and a fellowship in maxillofacial prosthetics in programs recognized by the American Dental Association. Applicants must be eligible for licensure by the South Carolina Board of Dentistry.
The candidate will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary Head and Neck team in the hospital setting. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a desire to create an environment that promotes collegiality, collaboration, inclusion, and cultural diversity among members of various educational, research, and service communities. The candidate must have experience with providing oral and maxillofacial prosthetic rehabilitation services for children and adults with congenital or acquired craniofacial conditions. The individual must be proficient in the surgical placement and rehabilitation of oral and maxillofacial endosteal implants as well as excellency in associated lab work. The individual must have experience with digital prosthetic procedures including intraoral scanning, implant planning and the design and fabrication of surgical guides and oral and maxillofacial prostheses.
