Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service in addition to academic registration and enrollment experience.
  • Excellent organization, problem-solving, reasoning, and interpersonal skills.
  • A successful background check.
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive counseling to students and parents regarding undergraduate and graduate enrollment and related processes.
  • Respond to and resolve inquiries from students and parents regarding University enrollment policies and practices.
  • Review and resolve student enrollment and tuition issues.
  • Counsel and advise students and parents concerning the financial aid process and eligibility requirements and resolve related disputes.
  • Recommend and arrange financing alternatives for students and parents.
  • Evaluate financial aid applications and determine student eligibility for federal, state, and institutional grants, loans, and student employment financial aid awards.
  • Advise students and families through the special and unusual circumstances process.
  • Act as a liaison between Enrollment Management and specific colleges to assist colleges in understanding student enrollment processes.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with students, families, and academic departments within the college model.
  • Design and deliver information and services to students through presentations, webinars, and tabling events.
  • Advise on student account payments for tuition, fees, room, and board, and resolve disputes.
  • Create individualized payment arrangements with students.
  • Manage an assigned student caseload for student retention and persistence efforts.
  • Evaluate processes, gather data, analyze alternatives, and propose solutions to streamline services.
  • Assist in the selection and training process of newly hired staff and work-study students.
