Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
  • At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
  • Ability to perform data entry and demonstrate computer literacy.
  • Ability to follow OSHA, Department of Health, Joint Commission, and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays according to the rotation.
  • Ability to work in a clinical environment and maintain a safe, neat, and orderly work area.
Responsibilities
  • Support the care delivery process by performing required care delivery support activities.
  • Assist with non-clinical activities required to support delivery of care.
  • Assist floor staff in preparing patients for transport.
  • Manage resources for an assigned clinical area, including procurement, transport, storage, preparation, cleaning, and maintenance assistance.
  • Handle supplies, non-controlled medications, linen, equipment, and other materials required for patient care or related activities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of supplies, equipment, services, resources, and Support Services department operations.
  • Maintain data entry to support assigned or required performance metrics.
  • Suggest process improvements, offer solutions, and implement changes to improve operations and reduce waste.
  • Support clinical staff as directed and provide customer service to coworkers, patients, and clinical staff.
  • Serve as a mentor and trainer for new staff.
  • Keep supply rooms, equipment storage rooms, patient rooms, and other assigned areas clean and organized.
  • Take corrective measures to maintain a safe, neat, orderly, and properly functioning work environment.
  • Follow OSHA, Department of Health, and Joint Commission regulations.
