  • Background in MEMS (Micro-electromechanical systems) or Semiconductor research/production is preferred
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in researching/developing new manufacturing processes and hands-on experimentation is required
  • Prior experience or knowledge of microfluidic devices, thermoplastic cutting, bonding and screen-printing operations is desired
  • Experience with researching, sourcing, and acquiring new equipment
  • Proven ability in assessing manufacturing process failures, root cause identification and resolution
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
  • Use of statistical methods for yield improvement and process stability (Cp/CpK / Pareto Analysis / DOE / SPC)
Responsibilities
  • As a Process Development Engineer at Fluxergy, you will be at the heart of our mission to continuously improve and innovate. You will be involved in the following:
  • Drive development of new/innovative manufacturing processes from proof of concept to full scale production
  • Characterize existing processes, establish controls for critical parameters, improve process robustness
  • Perform qualification/validation of processes and equipment used in the scale-up of new or existing products
  • Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to evaluate new solutions and process innovations
  • Reducing scrap through innovative methods
  • Problem Solving and techniques to identify and implement mitigation plans
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the functional and performance characteristics of the Fluxergy Card and Analyzer
