Responsibilities:

• As a Front End Engineer Intern, you will work product owners, designers, and engineers to create user-facing web pages for Yahoo’s subscription products. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a keen desire to learn.
• You should have some knowledge of developing dynamic web applications with JavaScript, Typescript, CSS3, and HTML5.
• We look for individuals to figure things out with minimal guidance and experience working in teams within an Agile environment with constantly changing priorities. This requires working with a lot of people among different teams so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must. 

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Knowledge of CSS3, Sass, and Mixins is a plus
• Experience working with design source files (Photoshop, Sketch) is also a plus
• Continual learning of industry standards and trends
• Excellent communication skills in multiple team environment
• Knowledge of react-js
• good working knowledge of Unix / linux

The compensation for this position ranges from $45,760.00 - $135,200.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
