About the Role

As an Infrastructure Security Engineer on Charlie Health’s Security team, you will be the founding engineer on a team dedicated to protecting our cloud environment. You will help set the tone and priorities of the program responsible for the maintenance and protection of Charlie Health’s web application.

Responsibilities

Design and implement security solutions to protect the company’s infrastructure.
Configure and maintain security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
Ensure secure configurations of all network devices and servers.
Perform regular security assessments, including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
Mitigate security vulnerabilities and develop reporting to surface outstanding issues
Develop and maintain risk management frameworks and documentation.
Partner with DevOps to develop and implement company cloud architecture strategy and integration of security into that roadmap
Review proposals for changes to the infrastructure

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), etc.).
3-5 years experience in a Infrastructure security role, Security auditor or equivalent
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CSSLP are a plus.
