Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is currently seeking Engineering Technologist Interns, working out of the Winnipeg, Manitoba location. The opportunities are 4-8 months in length, starting in May 2025.
We are looking for current post-secondary technologist students who are interested in working side-by-side with experienced Engineering professionals. Our student Interns are given a unique experience as they learn the ropes and attain newfound competencies. Interns are exposed to on-the-job challenges as they work on hands-on tasks, undergo training, and have the opportunity to work on special projects. Position Responsibilities:
• Supports the investigation of basic equipment and tooling concepts and specifications to satisfy aerospace product design and build requirements.
• Participates in design reviews, collects design requirements, creates and revises drawings and models, researches the application of robotics, automation and new technology to support the build plan.
• Checks designs for compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
• Supports the development and documentation of equipment and tooling inspection and usage instructions, preventative maintenance plans, and user training.
• Provides technical support for engineering changes and discrepancies by investigating problems and analyzing data to identify solutions.
• Maintains hardware and software configuration.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Must be a currently enrolled student attending an accredited college
• Must be enrolled at a college with studies in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Technology or similar technical discipline
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel
• Must have strong oral and written communications skills
• Must be legally able to work in Canada
• Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
• Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Prefer previous internship experience
• Experience in the use of CATIA or equivalent 3D Modelling software
• Experience and knowledge of aerospace structures and/or composite materials would be beneficial
• Hands-on experience with tools would be considered an asset
• Experience working with Microsoft Access would be considered an asset
• Facilitative, communication, problem-solving, organizational and team-building
*Graduates are ineligible unless continuing in post graduate studies.

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Additional Information:
This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
