We are looking for a Financial Controller who will drive the day-to-day accounting processes, internal controls, and financial reporting for TheoremOne, LLC. You will be responsible for leading and building out a high performing team. To be successful you will need to have an agile work style in order to quickly respond to a rapidly changing environment, under tight deadlines.
Duties
- Lead the Accounting team
- Oversee the whole month-end process including the AP/AR function and Reconciliation
- Ensure that the company accounts are closed in a timely fashion and in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS
- Implement and maintain robust reporting and controls processes
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Assist with financial reports, including annual and monthly budgeting and financial planning
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Management of ASC 606 and IFRS 15 revenue recognition, working with Sales, Services, Legal, and Operations
- Prepare Consolidated Financial Statements
- Daily Cash Flow reporting
- Report to the CFO
Skills
- Managed within companies with over 100M in Revenue
- Be ASC 606 & IFRS 15 Revenue recognition proficient
- Thorough knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and procedures
- Experience working in a scaling Tech business.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to create and deliver clear and concise written or verbal reports.
- Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, to interact with all levels of business, and to develop and maintain strong relationships with finance and non-finance individuals.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Bachelor In Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- CPA license preferred
- Public accounting experience a plus
- At least 10 years of accounting experience required including 5 in a similar role
