In testing and quality assurance at PwC, you will focus on the process of evaluating a system or software application to identify any defects, errors, or gaps in its functionality. As a Test Architect in the Managed Services Platform, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy through execution and beyond. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this level include but are not limited to:
Creating and presenting storyboards to outline the test response in the proposals
Creating outline Test Strategies, including specification of all standards, methods, processes and tools to be used
Build next generation Test Framework using latest technologies
Provides Technical Leadership and Strategic Direction to the Testing Organization
Lead a team of technical engineers on evaluating new tools and automation technologies along with evaluation report
Identify Quality Engineering and automation gaps and develop solutions for automation.
Identify what tools and technologies should be implemented to support a CI/CD capability.
Supporting Agile Testing Project and Kanban approach where applicable in achieving their strategic goals for the business and by providing technical support and mentoring to the team.
Establish Test Environments Management and Test Data Management strategies and implement them for different testing activities.
Review and design the architecture from quality, stability and performance standpoint.
Develop process to track test environments required for QA
Create short-term plans to deliver environments to support sprint-based development
Coordinate activities of release engineers to automate the setup and configuration of test environments
Ability to lead customer executive teams through structured test architecture
Develop process to track test environments required for QA
Communicate test environment availability to project management and quality assurance
Develop KPIs to track efficacy of test environment delivery efforts

Provide estimates for onboarding of new projects to test environments
Design systems to support continuous delivery and adapt test environment management to support on-demand, self-service automation
Forecast environment requirements based on anticipated future demand from multiple application development teams
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
Degree Preferred: Bachelors in Computer Engineering
Minimum Years of Experience: 15 year(s) of progressive roles managing IT quality assurance and control within software/systems development processes

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
12+ years of experience in testing or development with solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
Deep knowledge of Application architecture.
Knowledge and delivery experience of one of more of technologies such as Microservices, Rest API's, Mobile & Cloud.
Good knowledge in scripting with Test Automation Tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Protractor, SOAP UI, MF UFT, Test Complete, Work soft, Tosca, UI Path
Knowledge and delivery experience of modern delivery methodologies such as Behavior Driven Development , Technical Driven Development, DevOps, Lean, Agile
Should have good performance engineering skills and deep understanding of any of the following technologies Java, .Net, SQL, Oracle, PostGres.
At least 5 years of experience working in Cloud (AWS), Agile, CI/CD, DevOps environments.
Experience in writing queries against databases and data warehouses in Oracle or SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, and Mongo DB.
Strong written/oral communication skills, problem resolution, good judgment, presentation, and decision-making skills required
Prior experience of development or testing for Cloud Services. Experience with testing services in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud is a big plus
Significant experience across a number of broad technology disciplines, including domains such as digital transformation, application consolidation, infrastructure design & migration (including Cloud & Data Centre), software development, service integration, and data analytics.
Hands on experience in building new Automation Solutions from the scratch
Experience in integrating Test into the DevOps CI/CD Pipelines
Expertise on scripting languages like Python and PowerShell
Experience in Testing Infrastructure capabilities
