Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Computer Science, or Engineering is required.
  • Five to eight years of experience in software license compliance, intellectual property enforcement, or a closely related field within a software or technology company is required.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying or scaling compliance, operational, or go-to-market programs across multiple geographies, including managing regional prioritization and sequencing decisions, is required.
  • A proven track record managing compliance enforcement cases end-to-end, including legal coordination, settlement negotiation, and recovery activities, is required.
  • Experience working alongside regional Sales organizations to embed compliance activities and translate enforcement outcomes into commercial results is required.
  • Familiarity with software licensing models, including perpetual, subscription, floating, and network licenses, and their enforcement implications across different legal jurisdictions, is required.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property law and software copyright principles across multiple jurisdictions is required.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, customer databases, order entry portals, and license tracking or audit tools is required.
  • Strong analytical skills, regional performance analysis, and compliance reporting capabilities are required.
  • Familiarity with case management platforms and compliance tracking tools is required.
  • Ability to make and defend prioritization decisions with incomplete information and execute them operationally is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for conveying compliance strategy, case status, and regional risks to legal, commercial, and senior leadership audiences are required.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills for building trust with regional Sales Teams and engaging across legal, commercial, and senior leadership functions are required.

Responsibilities
  • Support rollout of the established license compliance program and define the global rollout strategy, including which regions to activate, the sequence of activation, and the pace of deployment.
  • Assess regions based on piracy exposure, market maturity, legal enforceability, and commercial sensitivity to build a prioritized deployment roadmap.
  • Adapt program frameworks and enforcement protocols to local legal environments, business practices, and regional Sales Team needs before market activation.
  • Share regional learnings, best practices, and program insights with the broader Intelligent Manufacturing License Compliance community across business units.
  • Own and operate the license compliance program end-to-end across activated regions, managing cases from identification through resolution.
  • Investigate suspected software piracy and unauthorized use of Cimatron products using established workflows and escalation paths.
  • Execute regional enforcement strategies by selecting the appropriate mix of self-service recovery tools, direct engagement, and external enforcement services.
  • Maintain and improve program tools, workflows, and case resolution standards based on regional deployment learnings.
  • Monitor global software piracy and intellectual property enforcement trends and adjust regional deployment strategies as needed.
  • Work with regional Sales Teams before market activation to align on enforcement approach, identify non-compliance hotspots, and implement corrective strategies.
  • Design and deliver training for regional Sales, Customer Success, and Operations teams to build compliance awareness and identify non-compliance signals.
  • Partner with the BA General Counsel and external legal counsel to coordinate legal actions, manage lawsuits, negotiate settlements, and handle fee discussions in active regions.
  • Maintain relationships with channel partners and resellers to promote awareness of and adherence to Cimatron's licensing terms.
  • Deliver rollout progress updates and compliance performance dashboards to the Cimatron General Manager, regional Sales leadership, and the BA General Counsel.
  • Communicate regional deployment decisions, compliance risks, case pipeline status, and enforcement trade-offs to senior leadership.
  • Track compliance cases initiated, progressed, and resolved; revenue recovered through enforcement by region; and conversion of non-compliant users to licensed customers.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in the manufacturing software, CAD/CAM, or engineering technology sector is advantageous.
  • A master's degree or legal qualification is preferred.

Sandvik has partnered with Rio Tinto to integrate its i-series surface drill rigs with Rio Tinto's Autonomous Drilling System. The collaboration will combine Sandvik's AutoMine automation technology with Rio Tinto's remote operations expertise to improve safety, productivity and system interoperability in open-pit mining. Development will be managed through Rio Tinto's Perth Operations Centre, beginning with testing at Sandvik's facility in Finland. Field trials will follow at Rio Tinto's Western Australian operations to evaluate performance against production targets. The project leverages existing autonomous infrastructure at Rio Tinto's iron ore sites and aligns with both companies' expansion plans, including Sandvik's recent copper mine equipment orders and Rio Tinto's $1.5 billion Quebec smelter expansion, due to complete by end-2026.

Sandvik reports $3B revenue, 23% order intake growth in Q1 2026

Swedish engineering group Sandvik reported strong first-quarter results for 2026, with order intake rising 23% to SEK 36.8 billion and revenues increasing 15% to SEK 30.7 billion, both at fixed exchange rates and organically. The company's adjusted EBITA margin improved to 20.0% from 19.7% in the prior year period, whilst adjusted EBIT margin reached 18.6%, up from 18.0%. Adjusted profit before tax rose to SEK 5.5 billion from SEK 5.0 billion. Diluted earnings per share increased to SEK 3.09 from SEK 2.97, whilst adjusted diluted earnings per share reached SEK 3.27, up from SEK 3.01.
