Requirements
  • Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
  • Three or more years of experience in the following: Full Stack development/ development management (Technologies: Java, Spring, AWS Cloud)
  • system automation, scripting, Chef, Puppet or similar
  • Cloud technologies, VMWare, AWS, or similar
  • Automated testing, continuous integration and delivery
  • Demonstrated experience with state of the art technology, architecture and design concepts, operating systems, database systems, computer networking, and security
  • Experience with open source frameworks and tools
  • Proven experience in Agile and DevOps software development philosophy, methodologies, practices, and procedures
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively in cross-functional groups and generate results
  • Must be able to excel in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Work experience that demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
  • Ability to envision project goals, product architectural solutions, and focus on details and tasks to ensure successful implementation
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple deadline-driven projects simultaneously

  • Proven leadership skills in leading DevOps teams and their interaction across an organization

Responsibilities
  • Oversees and manages the engineering group(s) and supports the design, development, implementation, and delivery of product engineering software components; manages the team to ensure capacity to deliver the product roadmap
  • Build Product Engineering components and maintain them through production
  • Provide supervision in terms of costs, methods, and staffing
  • Provide technical guidance to design and engineering patterns on product design
  • Guide efforts applied to identification, enhancement and automation of applications and systems
  • Ensure testing policies and procedures are followed
  • Provide input for employee selection, training, guidance, performance management and development to ensure department objectives and Service Level Agreements (SLA) met
  • Actively contribute toward the vision, organization and leadership of the Engineering team(s)
  • Enhance and mature the Agile software development lifecycle within the team by applying industry best practices and processes
  • Keep management informed of team progress, problems and solutions
  • Participate in and support initiatives for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning
  • Serve as main liaison between Engineering and other departments within the company
  • Promote DevOps principles and collaborate with other groups
  • Support the company’s commitment to protect the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data
  • Manager is involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect
  • Manager may have subordinate supervisors or team leads as well as engineers as direct reports
  • Establishes and assures teams adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements

Citi adds Paze digital wallet for millions of US credit cardmembers

Early Warning Services has expanded its Paze online checkout solution to Citi, giving millions of credit cardmembers access to the bank-offered digital wallet. Eligible Citi cardmembers can activate Paze through Citi.com, the Citi Mobile App, or mywallet.paze.com. Paze allows customers to check out online without manually entering card details, using tokenisation for added security. The service is available at leading online merchants across apparel, electronics, jewellery, food, entertainment and beauty sectors. According to a survey, 72% of US consumers value digital wallet efficiency for online transactions, whilst 82% trust their banks' security more than third-party payment options. More than 165 million credit and debit cards have been added to the Paze platform, which is operated by Early Warning Services.
