Executive Assistant

Mission:

As an Executive Assistant at Groq, you will be the backbone of our leadership team’s day-to-day operations in Legal and Talent.. You will ensure smooth coordination of calendars, meetings, travel, and communications while driving key administrative and project management tasks. Your ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and maintain confidentiality will enable Groq’s leaders to focus on shaping the future of AI.

Responsibilities & Opportunities in this Role:

• Team Communication and Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to support project management activities and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
• Calendar and Scheduling Management: Efficiently coordinate and manage daily meetings, calls, travel, and movements for the Chief Legal and Chief Talent Officer.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain spreadsheets, corporate decks, and reports to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
• Email and Communication Management: Manage and facilitate a high volume of email communications, including drafting replies and following up as needed.
• Event Planning: Plan and execute morale events, volunteer activities, and logistics for offsite meetings.
• Confidentiality and Professionalism: Handle sensitive information with discretion and ensure strict confidentiality in all matters.

Ideal Candidates Have/Are:

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting senior leaders in a high-growth organization.  Experience working with Legal and Talent executives would be helpful.

Skills and Competencies:

• Experience handling very confidential, sensitive information.
• Exceptional scheduling and coordination skills, with the ability to manage complex calendars.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail, with great follow-through on tasks.
• Strong prioritization abilities and the capacity to operate independently and autonomously.
• Effective communication skills, capable of interacting with internal and external partners at all levels.
• Proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs and addresses challenges before they arise.
• Adaptable and calm under pressure, able to execute tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Experience working collaboratively in team-oriented settings.

Compensation:

At Groq, a competitive base salary is part of our comprehensive compensation package, which includes equity and benefits. For this role, the base salary range is $117, 215 - $174,500, determined by your skills, qualifications, experience and internal benchmarks.

Location:

Groq is known to be a geo-agnostic company, meaning you work where you are. Exceptional candidates will thrive in asynchronous partnerships and remote collaboration methods. Some roles may require being located near our primary sites, as indicated in the job description.  This specific role will be considered a hybrid role and will be expected to work from our Palo Alto office 1-2 weeks per month
