Requirements
  • 8–15+ years of experience in executive protection, special operations, federal law enforcement, or intelligence services.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Active or previous licensing and legal qualifications to carry and operate a firearm in applicable jurisdictions.
  • Proven experience managing security for ultra-high-net-worth individuals or high-profile principals.
  • Comfortable operating in unpredictable and high-pressure environments, often with rapid deployments and global travel.
  • Demonstrated expertise in advance planning, route analysis, emergency protocols, and crisis response.
  • Clean background check and driving record; must pass a comprehensive background investigation and subject interview.
  • Valid passport and ability to obtain visas and permits for international travel.
  • Emergency medical training (EMT, TCCC, etc.)
  • Familiarity with private FBO, aviation, and maritime security protocols
  • Experience operating in Latin America and high-risk regions
  • Proficiency with secure communications, travel security tools, and protective technologies
  • Background in working with high-growth tech companies or entrepreneurial leaders
  • Broad geopolitical awareness, knowledge of global events, and cultural sensitivity
  • Maintain a high level of physical fitness and the ability to protect in recreational sports/activities.

  • Position requires a high level of physical stamina and endurance, including the ability to remain active and engaged for extended periods without standard breaks.
  • This is a full-time position with a variable schedule. Days and hours of work may include Monday through Sunday, with hours determined by the needs of the position. Flexibility and availability outside of standard business hours are required.
  • Travel amount is variable but >50%.
Responsibilities
  • Provide armed close protection to the CEO during all travel, public/media appearances, and personal activities—both domestic and international.
  • Lead and manage the CEO’s comprehensive security strategy, including threat intelligence, situational awareness, and emergency response.
  • Conduct advance work and site assessments for all locations and events, including venue security reviews, secure transportation coordination, and contingency planning.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders and outside details on logistics and operations for public appearances, media/entertainment events, and large gatherings
  • Maintain and operate within all local and international laws regarding armed protection, including proper licensing, permits, and regulatory compliance.
  • Interface with venue security, corporate teams, and local law enforcement as needed to ensure seamless protective coverage.
  • Continuously monitor global threat landscapes and provide real-time intelligence and risk updates to the CEO.
  • Conduct security and threat assessment audits of residential and commercial client-owned properties and define and implement a plan for the improvement of security measures per site.
  • Manage and oversee third-party or contract security personnel as required.
  • Protect both physical and digital vulnerabilities through coordination with cybersecurity and operations teams.
  • Maintain the highest levels of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced Security Certifications: Executive Protection Institute (EPI) certification, Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation, or equivalent advanced security credentials from recognized industry organizations.
  • Elite Military or Federal Background: Special Forces, Secret Service, Diplomatic Security Service, or similar Tier 1 operational experience with documented leadership roles in high-stakes protective operations.
  • Additional Language Proficiency: Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, English, or other languages relevant to global tech markets and emerging business regions.
  • Advanced Medical Training: Paramedic certification, Combat Medic training, or Wilderness First Aid credentials beyond basic EMT requirements, with experience in remote location medical response.
  • Technology and Cybersecurity Expertise: Working knowledge of digital security protocols, surveillance detection, electronic countermeasures (TSCM), and familiarity with emerging security technologies in the tech industry.
  • Executive MBA or Advanced Degree: Business administration, international relations, or security management education demonstrating strategic thinking and business acumen for advising C-level executives.
  • Aviation Experience: Extensive experience coordinating aviation security for private aircraft operations and international flight planning.
  • Crisis Management Certification: Formal training in crisis communication, incident command systems, or emergency management from recognized institutions like FEMA or international equivalents.
