- A high school diploma or equivalency diploma.
- A valid New York State driver's license.
- Monitor the program and its residents while ensuring resident safety during assigned hours.
- Respond to immediate social or housekeeping issues as they arise.
- Provide breathalyzer and toxicology screening as needed.
- Respond to crises and emergencies.
- Input data into the agency database as requested by the supervisor.
- Attend and participate in all individual program and agency activities as required by the supervisor.
- Attend and participate in all job-related workshops and in-service trainings.
- Respond in a professional and responsible manner to incidents involving contagious diseases, including HIV, Hepatitis B, and tuberculosis.
- Serve on agency committees as requested.
- Assist in implementing the agency's policies and procedures.
- Carry out additional duties essential to the stated responsibilities as assigned.
- Integrate Trauma-Informed Care and its five principles into all duties and interactions with staff, residents, and external partners.
- Maintain compliance with applicable rules and regulations, including Federal Confidentiality under 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, Medicaid, and/or HUD.
