POSITION DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Quality Assurance and Training Analysts for the City of Tucson analyze, design, develop, and implement quality assurance and training programs, processes, and procedures that improve customer satisfaction and service levels and improve the quality of life for citizens and employees.
This position may require providing advice to others outside direct reporting relationships on specific problems or general policies. Contacts may require consideration of different points of view to reach an agreement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
Job Description
The Quality Assurance and Training Analyst position at the City of Tucson’s Water Department is responsible for assessing training needs throughout the utility, identifying and developing appropriate training materials to address those needs, creating and administering testing material, developing reports for management on course completions, training status and projected training challenges and managing the Department’s Learning Management System (LMS).
Work is performed under the supervision of the Management Coordinator. This position does not supervise.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assesses departmental training needs by consulting with divisional leadership and managers. Identifies training materials and sources throughout the utility by working with internal and external stakeholders as needed. Develops key performance indicators to monitor training programs.
Administers the Learning Management System to ensure that users can access the platform by creating and managing user accounts, assigning courses and tracking user training progress. Supports users by troubleshooting any issues that may arise. Co-administers various software platforms for document creation and storage to meet training needs.
Maintains the Learning Management System by updating records to prepare and distribute reports that track the progress and effectiveness of training programs. Makes recommendations for improvements.
Assists in the planning, coordination and execution of process improvement and change initiatives related to staff development and training programs. Manages calendars, schedules meetings and coordinates logistics for departmental training events and workshops.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

Previous knowledge of developing and managing an organizational training function.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
Previous experience with software implementation and administration.
Previous experience with administration, user training progress monitoring, records maintenance, reporting and/or measuring success within a Learning Management System or similar software and/or application.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Full Hourly Range: $26.57 - 45.84 USD
The Full Hourly Range reflects the City of Tucson’s pay range at the time of posting.
