Requirements
  • Experience working within a personal injury law firm or another professional services environment with credentialed staff, such as attorneys, paralegals, case managers, medical providers, or clinicians.
  • Expertise with Filevine, another case management or customer relationship management platform such as Salesforce, Clio, or SmartAdvocate, or equivalent systems in another regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to build training for both process-heavy roles, including case managers and paralegals, and judgment-heavy roles, including attorneys, or a clear approach for addressing both.
  • Strong instructional design skills, including needs analysis, curriculum design, assessment design, and measurement of training effectiveness.
  • Ability to partner with senior subject-matter experts, including attorneys and Managing Attorneys, and incorporate their input while retaining ownership of learning design.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to simplify complex material for a mixed-tenure, mixed-background audience.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent training builds in a high-volume, fast-changing environment.
Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver case manager and paralegal onboarding covering case management systems, demand package construction, client communication standards, and escalation protocols.
  • Build attorney and pre-litigation attorney onboarding covering firm case strategy standards, settlement targets, file ownership expectations, and internal systems in partnership with Managing Attorneys and senior attorneys.
  • Provide case manager backup and fill staff-support gaps when not leading a training session.
  • Partner with attorney and case management leadership as subject-matter experts for matters requiring legal judgment while owning learning design and delivery rather than legal strategy or case decisions.
  • Run ongoing training based on performance signals, quality scores, case velocity, and compliance findings.
  • Build and maintain role-specific assessments and certification checkpoints so ramp time and skill gaps are visible to leadership.
  • Develop training materials, job aids, and quick-reference guides for a fast-paced, high-volume caseload environment.
  • Track ramp time, quality outcomes, and training effectiveness by role, and report findings to Learning Solutions leadership.
  • Build trust with tenured staff by demonstrating case-team fluency rather than claiming authority.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience designing and delivering training in a fast-paced, production-driven personal injury legal environment; experience in compliance, insurance, financial services, healthcare operations, or a similar regulated or high-volume setting may also be considered.
  • Experience building certification or competency checkpoints tied to measurable performance outcomes.
  • Experience operating in fast-evolving start-up environments with still-maturing organizational structures.
