Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and Engineering drawings
  • At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing operations
  • Working knowledge of GD&T
  • Experience performing dimensional inspections using standard precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gage blocks
  • Proficient in the use of computer applications such as Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and/or web based software
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently, but function as a team player
Responsibilities
  • Coordinating the calibration of precision measuring instruments
  • Retrieval and interpretation of technical documents
  • Developing an inspection plan
  • Performing calibration and verification procedures
  • Performing gage R&R
  • Completing required documentation and entering into the ERP system
  • Creating reports as needed
  • Communicating technical requirements to shop personnel
  • Assigning traceability to incoming instruments, tools, and equipment
  • Prioritizing workflow
  • Maintaining a clean work environment and complying with safety requirements
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Performing tasks as needed per individual jobs
