Our award-winning Performance Experience team within Spark Foundry is looking for a talented Copywriter to join our fast-growing Content Experience team. The role is perfect for a creative and data-driven person, passionate for crafting engaging content and preferably with writing and video experience.
Reporting into the Content Manager, you will be ideating and writing website and some social content for a range of clients that will resonate with their audience. You will take responsibility for delivering high quality work to agreed deadlines, and ensuring you are proactive in developing your search insight and research skills.
- Writing editorial and product content for a range of client to deliver a great content experience
- Delivering consistently high-quality outputs i.e. blog posts, product pages, meta data, onsite optimisations, presentations, editorial content ideas, video and other content asset ideas, digital PR and outreach content etc.
- Developing an understanding of the role the content plays in forming strong foundations to ensure wider marketing activity can meet business objectives and digital KPIs
- Developing the ability to use industry reporting, analysis and insight tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Keyword Planner, SemRush, Ahrefs, Searchmetrics, etc
- Analysing performance data to produce content reports and find the areas in need of improvement
- Gaining a wider knowledge of Performance Experience across SEO, content and UX including the ability to execute various aspects of onsite and offsite SEO, with close support from the SEO and content managers
- Supporting managers and directors on ad hoc client’s requests
Qualifications
- Up-to-date knowledge of best practices for copywriting and video content creation
- Proven examples of writing/creating compelling content for digital platforms
- Good understanding of measuring content performance
- Can-do attitude with the ability to action constructive feedback from clients
- Good attention to detail with excellent proofing and QAing skills
- Creative approach to work and strong prioritisation skills
- A proficiency of Excel & PowerPoint and social video would be a bonus
- An understanding of content for SEO, including monitoring trend data
