Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience directly managing others in IT operations
  • Excellent people management and team building skills
  • Experience in a high growth organization or startup environment
  • Familiarity with common IT service management tools
  • Experience with IT program buildout in a rapidly growing organization
  • Knowledge of Apple Products operating systems, hardware, and software
  • Previous experience managing support for SSO systems and workflows, Google Workspace Suite of productivity tools, Slack, Zoom (or other team Conference\Collaboration systems), and other cloud services
  • Previous experience managing a centralized device management system for endpoints such as Rippling, JAMF, or Kandji
  • Ability to to ensure that assigned tasks and projects for the team are completed timely
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Comprehensive verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Manage a small but dynamic team of IT Support techs and engineers
  • Ensure that BAU and project work is managed effectively; prioritizing and escalating work as needed
  • Serve as the primary IT point of contact and as a backup for other team members as required
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with internal teams to understand, prioritize, and effectively deliver IT Support requests and projects
  • Develop objectives, key indicators, and roadmaps for the IT function
  • Review high priority change management requests as delegated
  • Manage IT projects, resources, and team members
  • Develop and document the IT Support problem-solving process
  • Develop and contribute to knowledge base articles for end user reference
  • Manage IT asset inventory and lifecycle management program
  • Provide coaching and development for IT support staff
