Requirements
  • An advanced degree in Electrical Engineering (electronics, electro-optics), Materials Science, Photonics, or Physics (optics, semiconductors)
  • A minimum of five years of industry experience in qualification/reliability program management
  • Technical competency in photonic device physics and principles of integration and fabrication
  • Aptitude to work with a large body of data, perform statistical analysis, and present data and ideas to a diverse audience
  • Experience in the development of reliability test hardware
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Lead the reliability team efforts to develop and execute reliability and qualification programs for new products
  • Develop reliability test hardware, test processes, and burn-in processes
  • Establish and maintain reliability models to project over-life performance and FIT of the product
  • Establish and maintain reliability specifications for new and existing products
  • Define and execute reliability verification tests
  • Assess risk for new and existing products and mitigation methods
  • Perform failure mode analysis (FMA) and Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA)
  • Support ongoing quality needs of released products
  • Institutionalize reliability processes and document product qualification in standard reports
  • Lead efforts to maintain product quality and respond to process deviations
  • Interact with designers and engineers within and across departments to optimize performance and reliability
  • Individual contributor role with managerial opportunity
