Technical Architect

Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Development of Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detail Design and Construction Documentation.
•  Provide design solutions and drive the project(s) from inception to various stages until handover.
• Production of detailed drawings.
•  Ensuring tasks allocated is completed & delivered with quality after a self-check.
• Creates detailed plans integrating engineering, electrical, and HVAC considerations for review and approval.
• Knowledge of updated UAE authority regulations (GFA, BUA etc. measurement criteria) and relevant standards and codes.
• Ensure knowledge of all applicable Authority Guidelines, Codes & International Standards.1Prepare drawings and documents for tendering and construction.
• Specification writing, up to date knowledge of materials and their applications.
• Knowledge of LOD stages.

Building Information Modelling:

• Expertise in Revit Architecture in drafting, designing and building modeling
• Experience with BIM, Revit families & BIM protocols.

Skills:

• Be inventive, imaginative and creative
• Strong visual awareness and an eye for detail
• Sketching skills, with the ability to work in 3D
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Solution-orientated approach
•  Good analytical skill
• Team player that can also work independently

Software Skills:

• Revit Architecture
• AutoCAD
•  Lumion
• Photoshop
• In Design
• Illustrator
• MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required, Master’s degree preferred
•  5 - 7 years of relevant experience in UAE is a must.
• Proven experience working on big scale projects.
