Are you an experienced Broker Technician with a passion for drafting wording and working with specialist lines in insurance placement? Join Marsh’s Personal Accident Contingency and Events (PACE) team, where you will build strong relationships with insurers and colleagues while becoming a go-to technical resource in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
- Assist in the delivery of placements for new business and renewals, collaborating closely with colleagues.
- Understand client document needs and ensure timely delivery to brokers.
- Serve as the primary contact for back-office inquiries, maintaining a service level where responses are provided within 24 hours.
- Provide regular updates to Client Service teams on progress related to wordings, onboarding, invoicing, and market payments.
- Utilize online trading systems such as PPL Next Gen and attend client and insurer meetings alongside the client service team.
What you need to have:
- Proven experience in broking tech/account handling or underwriting tech within Lloyds (circa 4+ years).
- Awareness of clients’ business issues, insurance programs, and service plans.
- Excellent communication skills and detailed policy documentation abilities.
- Proven relationship management experience with a robust network of insurer/broker contacts.
- Competent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
