Requirements
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing
  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
  • Current Basic Life Support required, either certification from an American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) also required for most nursing areas within the hospital
