In this capacity, he drives strategy for cloud engineering and enterprise cloud systems to support business objectives and scalability. He is instrumental in developing and expanding the organization's cloud footprint through architecture, deployment and optimization of cloud resources. His responsibilities also include providing day-to-day operational support for cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance and availability for business users and applications. As a key member of the Americas cloud services team, Mr. Nonnemacher contributes to shaping strategy across global teams, with the Americas team frequently leading initiatives within the company's broader cloud services sector. Before his promotion, Mr. Nonnemacher joined Signode in May 2023 as a Cloud Systems Engineer. In this position, he operated as a versatile contributor, addressing a wide range of technical challenges and supporting the company's migration to advanced cloud solutions. Among his most notable achievements during this period was the successful migration of the enterprise data center from an on-premises facility in Chicago to Azure, ensuring full operational continuity, a milestone that stands as a testament to his expertise in cloud engineering. In addition to his work at Signode, Mr. Nonnemacher is also the sole proprietor of a consulting firm he established in 2024. Through this venture, he provides IT and cloud services to companies and individual consultants, assisting clients throughout their cloud journey with offerings ranging from operational support to comprehensive cloud assessments. Before joining Signode, Mr. Nonnemacher built a robust foundation at Redwood Logistics over a five-year period. From 2022 to 2023, he served as an AWS Cloud Engineer, working on the infrastructure team that designed and maintained scalable cloud environments. Between 2020 and 2022, he worked as a system engineer at Redwood Logistics, focusing on optimizing IT infrastructure and supporting critical business operations. His earlier roles at Redwood included application solutions engineer from 2019 to 2020 and application support analyst from 2018 to 2019, where he provided technical assistance and contributed to application development projects. Mr. Nonnemacher's career began at MacLean-Fogg Company in 2017 as a distribution business analyst. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in manufacturing projects and was actively involved in enterprise resource planning deployments across various plants in the Americas, primarily in Saegertown, Pennsylvania. He has further distinguished himself by earning several industry certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate in 2024; certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in 2021; and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in 2021. These credentials have enhanced his ability to deliver innovative solutions within complex technological environments. Mr. Nonnemacher attributes much of his success to the unwavering support of those around him - his family, mentors, and friends - who have motivated him throughout his journey. He draws particular inspiration from his uncle, a successful oil executive based in Texas whose achievements serve as a benchmark for Mr. Nonnemacher's own ambitions. His leadership within Tau Kappa Epsilon included serving as Philanthropy chair, Major Events chair, and Social chair during his time in school from 2013-2017. His accomplishments have been recognized through several awards, including placement on the Dean's List at the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology at Northern Illinois University in 2013, and receipt of both the Innovation Award and the Transparency Award from Redwood Logistics. Born in Gurnee, Mr. Nonnemacher maintains strong ties to his family - particularly his mother and brother - and values their ongoing encouragement as central pillars of his life. He recently married Megan, who is both his best friend and partner; she works as a product manager at Medline while also managing her own small business. Together, they support each other's professional growth while nurturing their personal relationship. Outside of work, Mr. Nonnemacher enjoys trying new foods and restaurants, exercising, riding bikes, hiking and traveling. He is an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoys reading books on history, philosophy and science.
