Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience strongly considered.
  • 5–10+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with demonstrated technical leadership.
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, CNCs, electrical systems, PLCs, automation, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance, and reliability engineering principles.
  • Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop maintenance teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication across all organizational levels, from technicians to executive leadership.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-demand production setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab) preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute maintenance strategies, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and lifecycle performance.
  • Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for maintenance activities based on production priorities, equipment criticality, and team capabilities.
  • Provide technical guidance and hands-on support for troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Monitor employee performance, coach team members, and ensure adherence to maintenance best practices and safety standards.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, tooling, and maintenance resources to ensure readiness and minimize downtime.
  • Analyze equipment failures and implement root cause corrective actions (RCCA) to prevent recurrence.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities across all shifts and collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Lead and support capital improvement projects, equipment installations, and process upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies; proactively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and deliver technical training to maintenance personnel to enhance skillsets and maintain a high-performing team.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership regarding maintenance performance, key metrics, and improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, KPIs, and reporting (downtime, MTBF, MTTR, etc.).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
