Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years experience in a direct account executive or indirect sales role (B2B sales experience preferred); or equivalent relevant experience
  • High digital acumen and ability to deliver complex digital marketing solutions
  • Solid project management and time management skills
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong CRM experience with Salesforce or similar systems
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom/WebEx/GoToMeeting
  • Understanding of how technology products and services can solve business problems
  • Ability to build a consistent new business revenue pipeline
  • Commitment and curiosity to stay current with industry trends
Responsibilities
  • Initiating, identifying, prospecting and targeting new leads
  • Managing multiple accounts, contracts, contacts, and business relationships to meet or exceed sales quota objectives
  • Consultative solution-based selling of highest value products and services
  • Utilizing an extensive database to develop new account pipelines and close new business programs
  • Proactively communicating with clients and accounts to ensure satisfaction with Thomasnet programs and solutions
  • Utilizing Salesforce CRM to track customer projects and work with stakeholders
  • Resolving prospect and customer inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional manner
  • Providing compelling product demos, discussing contract terms, quoting prices, negotiation, and closing sales
  • Developing new account sales plans to achieve individual goals
  • Regular travel required to meet with customers and potential customers onsite
