Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory and/or managerial role.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a retail banking environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of consumer compliance regulations, with an emphasis on Customer Identification Program and account disclosures.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel to various TBK Bank locations for training and to perform other assigned duties.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct all aspects of retail banking branch activities.
  • Assist with the development and attainment of internal performance objectives.
  • Evaluate staff work performance, provide ongoing coaching and communication, conduct performance appraisals, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Participate in decisions related to the selection, promotion, transfer, pay, and discipline of assigned personnel; schedule and supervise branch employees.
  • Administer organizational policies fairly and equitably regarding discipline, tardiness, and absenteeism, and document incidents and actions taken.
  • Conduct or oversee training for new employees to ensure established procedures are understood and followed.
  • Serve as the escalation point for customer issues and concerns and resolve them promptly.
  • Build relationships with current customers, analyze branch deposit reports, develop profitable customer relationships, and proactively seek prospects.
  • Represent the bank in local community efforts, promote the bank, and grow networking opportunities.
  • Ensure completion of monthly operational activities and required checklists.
  • Review audit results and performance reports, conduct root cause analysis, and develop and implement solutions.
  • Ensure daily balancing of the vault and all branch cash, and ensure sufficient money is available for branch needs.
  • Manage branch security, including issuance of keys and access to the bank's security alarm and vault area.
  • Ensure front-line employees effectively present bank products and services, and organize coaching sessions on customer service and cross-selling.
  • Perform Personal Banker and Teller duties during periods of high volume.
  • Orient employees to bank policies and procedures and clearly communicate work duties and responsibilities.
  • Maintain a positive and caring atmosphere for customers and employees consistent with the bank's mission and philosophy.
  • Perform duties in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and related anti-money laundering laws, and in accordance with the bank's Information Security Program.
  • Complete required training within prescribed deadlines and continue professional development through training, seminars, certifications, and professional associations as applicable.
  • Adhere to Triumph's core values and ensure staff performance aligns with them.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
