  • 5+ years of development work in data engineering/analytics role, including automation
  • 5+ years of experience in managing data in AWS Cloud environment and toolsets (Glue, Lambda, Athena, S3) and data management (SQL, Redshift, S3 Data Lake). AWS Clean Room experience a plus. Snowflake a plus.
  • Strong fundamentals in database design
  • Advanced skills in Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Experience with design and build of end-to-end ETL pipeline in cloud environment, especially AWS
  • Proven track record of setting development targets and delivering results
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a good attention to detail.
  • 2+ years' experience within a media agency environment and/or ad tech and/or media performance optimization
  • 5+ years' experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Athena)
  • 2+ years' experience with marketing research studies such as brand trackers, brand lift studies, or creative testing
  • Demonstratable experience delivering weekly reporting
  • Experience in agile project management and engineering
  • Ability to establish trust and expertise with clients and hold live discussions on data methodology, reporting and insights
  • Experience across descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive data science techniques
  • Experience with experimental design, A/B testing setup, execution and measurement
  • Experience with programming languages – SQL, Python, R
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • AWS certifications and participations in data bootcamps is a plus
  • Implement data collection and reporting of Reach and Frequency analytics across channels and partners
  • Effectively leverage key functionality in AWS Cloud and SQL-based technologies
  • Oversee log-level data analytics for digital channels across Ad Server, DSP, DMP, site served etc.
  • Deliver on-time, accurate weekly reporting in collaboration with the analytics, planning and investment teams
  • Identify key data questions and conduct exploratory analyses
  • Create custom data visualizations in dashboard platforms including Tableau
  • Direct team on insights generation for brand tracking results
  • Partner cross-craft to develop measurement frameworks and data engineering requirements
  • Drive efficiencies in how analytic services are delivered, through standardization and automation
  • Responsible for campaign taxonomy implementation, be the authority and final approver
  • Lead customer requirements reviews, align acceptance & testing criteria, and partner with leadership to implement viable solutions
  • Maintain Amazon and Initiative data privacy and governance policies
  • Keep on top of industry trends, and educate the team, on topics such as AdTech, audience, data governance and new techniques in data strategy and data science
  • Train and mentor a team that includes an analyst and a senior analyst
