- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ or master’s degree with 2 years’ experience in wafer fab engineering of magnetic head or other semiconductor products of comparable complexity.
- Knowledge of the integrated process flow from wafer start to finish is strongly preferred.
- Identifying and fixing weak links and bottlenecks in the production line, covering both process and equipment.
- Work on the fab floor of Fremont and Great Oaks fabs frequently with manufacturing and engineering teams to perform audits and fix issues.
- Proactively enhance the robustness and efficiency of wafer process and equipment systems, procedures, training packages, etc.
- Promote Quality Culture among wafer process and equipment engineering teams.
- Facilitate process FMEAs.
- Collaborate with FA and yield engineering to assure wafer outgoing quality.
