Requirements
- Experience developing ETL jobs primarily in IBM DataStage within an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment.
- Ability to analyze reporting requirements to determine development methods, development templates, and job scheduling.
- Experience building a data warehouse using complex transformations from multiple Georgia Tech systems.
- Troubleshooting and improving existing ETL jobs.
- Adherence to ETL development standards and best practices; ability to refactor existing jobs that do not follow standards.
- Provide guidance in DataStage administration tasks such as scheduling jobs, troubleshooting job errors, and identifying issues in unusually long running jobs.
- Ability to monitor nightly data loads and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintaining technical support documentation.
- Collaborate with other development units to improve best practices in ETL development for Georgia Tech.
Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and help improve existing ETL jobs.

- Provide guidance in Data Stage administration tasks such as scheduling jobs, troubleshooting job errors, identifying issues in unusually long running jobs, etc.
- Work with other development units in improving best practices in ETL development for Georgia Tech.
- Monitor nightly loads and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Maintain technical support documentation.
- Other related duties as assigned.
