End User Services Engineer
The Role
We are seeking a highly talented and skilled engineer to join our team as an End User Services Engineer. The team is responsible for the monitoring/supporting of our windows infrastructure, Citrix VDI platform, SaaS platforms, and desktop applications as well as resolving direct technical issues across a global platform of end-users including investment professionals, middle & back office employees, and technologists. This role is hands-on and would allow the opportunity to work on both front-end support as well as back-end engineering while focusing on continuously improving user experience. We expect innovative ideas and solutions regarding user experience to be the digital enabler for the business.
What you’ll do
The End User Services Engineer will serve as a key technical point of contact for our London office. You will be tasked with not only providing technical support to users, but also helping with projects and rollouts such as desktop cloud migrations, mobile endpoint program & physical office expansions to provide a consistent user experience. You will be part of a global 24/7 dynamic workforce that will require extending support to all Schonfeld locations in a collaborative manner.
An ideal candidate will showcase both project management, technical, & communication skills.
What you’ll bring
What you need:
- Expertise with Windows 10.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Windows Administration
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell) and Group Policy Management
- Exposure to Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with office buildouts
- Strong ownership experience with a track record of delivering results
- Bachelor’s degree

- Trading floor support experience
- Experience with Active Directory
- VMware knowledge or experience
- Experience with Windows Server 2019
- Networking knowledge or experience
