Requirements
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds constantly and 60 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to read and understand information and directions.
  • Knowledge of grocery operations.
  • Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, stand, and push or pull stock carts for extended periods.

Responsibilities
  • Provide polite and friendly interactions with guests and co-workers.
  • Stock, rotate, and condition grocery products on shelves according to store standards and productivity guidelines.
  • Maintain a neat and safe work area on the sales floor and in the backroom.
  • Maintain organized and inventoried backstock in the backroom.
  • Minimize damage and shrink through inventory control, product rotation, and proper product handling.
  • Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery.
  • Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in the backroom.
  • Communicate dairy and frozen-food temperature problems to the supervisor.
  • Perform front-end duties as necessary to maintain the no-noticeable-wait standard.
  • Order products for assigned aisles.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.
