Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Director of Product Management to lead our EDC and eCOA product strategy and roadmap. This role will be critical in driving product innovation, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining Medrio’s leadership position in the eClinical space. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product development with business objectives and market needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product vision and strategy for Medrio’s EDC platform, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth targets and customer needs.
- Roadmap Development: Own and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on market research, user feedback, and business goals.
- Product Operations: Maintain and drive improvements to product processes tied to the SDLC process, as well as overall product functions.
- Market Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the eClinical space, leveraging insights to guide product innovation.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure cohesive product development and launch execution.
- Customer Focus: Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that the EDC platform delivers a best-in-class experience and meets the unique needs of clinical researchers, CROs, and sponsors.
- Innovation and R&D: Lead initiatives to enhance product differentiation through innovative features, integrations, and improved user experience.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with marketing and sales teams to define product positioning, develop go-to-market strategies, and support product launches that drive adoption and revenue growth.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product strategy and updates to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across all levels of the organization.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
Education and Years of Experience:
- Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in the life sciences, clinical trials, or healthcare technology sectors. Experience with EDC or other eClinical solutions is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, life sciences, engineering, or equivalent experience. MBA or related advanced degree is a plus.
Working Conditions (include any required travel):
- 10-20% of travel required for customer visits, in-person meetings and annual company retreat
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead product teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of clinical trials, regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA), and trends in the eClinical space.
- Product Expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing SaaS products, particularly in regulated industries, with a focus on delivering a high-quality user experience.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to collaborate with engineering teams on complex technical problems, and translate customer and market needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
- Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform product decisions and measure success.
- Problem Solving Focus: Passion for understanding and solving customer and market problems and improving the user experience through thoughtful product design and innovation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000
