Requirements
  • Minimum 7-10 years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in the life sciences, clinical trials, or healthcare technology sectors.
  • Experience with EDC or other eClinical solutions is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, life sciences, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • MBA or related advanced degree is a plus.
  • 10-20% of travel required for customer visits, in-person meetings and annual company retreat.
  • Proven ability to lead product teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Deep understanding of clinical trials, regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA), and trends in the eClinical space.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing SaaS products, particularly in regulated industries, with a focus on delivering a high-quality user experience.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering teams on complex technical problems, and translate customer and market needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform product decisions and measure success.
  • Passion for understanding and solving customer and market problems and improving the user experience through thoughtful product design and innovation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product vision and strategy for Medrio’s EDC platform, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth targets and customer needs.
  • Own and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on market research, user feedback, and business goals.
  • Maintain and drive improvements to product processes tied to the SDLC process, as well as overall product functions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the eClinical space, leveraging insights to guide product innovation.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure cohesive product development and launch execution.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that the EDC platform delivers a best-in-class experience and meets the unique needs of clinical researchers, CROs, and sponsors.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance product differentiation through innovative features, integrations, and improved user experience.
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to define product positioning, develop go-to-market strategies, and support product launches that drive adoption and revenue growth.
  • Communicate product strategy and updates to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across all levels of the organization.
  • Manage and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
