Requirements
  • 5 years of experience with Linux system administration and/or engineering
  • 8 years of relevant experience in Cloud, Systems, and/or Network Engineering with any combination of the following: Leadership within technology-driven federal organizations, Security implementation, Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), Hands-on experience with AWS, Hands-on experience with at least two of the following (or comparable toolsets) preferred: Keycloak, Ansible, Terraform, NGFW, WAF, GitLab
Responsibilities
  • Leads team to develop, enable, and engineer new and approved services/features/enhancements for our cloud infrastructure environments utilizing native and third-party tool sets
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Platform teams on the cloud platform’s development
  • Understand, configure, implement, and deploy systems using IaC
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux systems, including software updates and security patches
  • Monitor and validate the integrity and accessibility of all system resources, hardware, systems, and key processes
  • Tier 3 Support for cloud and tenant support
  • Self-motivated and leads team to deliver timely solutions
Desired Qualifications
  • Hold or willing to attain DoD 8570 IAT Level II
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Knowledge of agile mythologies, network design and security, and DoD system requirements
  • Knowledge of various network and host-based security applications and tools, such as network and host assessment/scanning tools, network and host-based intrusion detection systems, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions and other security software packages
