Requirements
  • Must hold a Secret or Top-Secret security clearance
  • Must have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related discipline with 14 years of experience in the areas described in the job description or Masters Degree with 12 years of experience or PhD with 10 years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience on lieu of degree.
  • Experience in Antenna/RF Performance Analysis
  • Hardware antenna Tech lead should have a demonstrated ability in technical and team leadership overseeing engineers with experience at least at the Staff level.
  • Strong knowledge using MATLAB
  • Strong knowledge of processing large amounts of data
  • Strong understanding of AESA / phased array, Radar, SIGINT, or SATCOM sensors
  • Be able to delegate, task and oversee the work of junior RF engineers
Responsibilities
  • Interface between classified and unclassified teams to keep the development efforts aligned.
  • Lead the overall design and development effort.
  • Interface with the chief engineers on other programs to ensure that mutual benefit without duplication of effort.
  • Attend design reviews and weekly meetings, contributing experience and insight to ensure success on experiments.
  • Visit and coordinate with team members who work at other sites.
  • Deliver efficient and effective communication of design and architecture to hardware and software design engineers.
  • Mentor and engineers and other staff members.
