WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, organized, data-driven individual to manage our Wholesale Operations team. You will be responsible for strategically managing the wholesale calendar start to finish ensuring that orders flow efficiently from order receipt until handoff of goods. This role will work closely with our sales, production, logistics, finance, warehouse and overseas 3PLs to effectively communicate all our wholesale-related needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar field managing B2B retail operations. We are looking for someone who has experience successfully leading a team through multiple overlapping deadlines while providing needed visibility to leadership.
WHAT WE WANT YOU TO DO:
- Define and execute our strategy to support the rapid growth of our Wholesale business
- Optimize and streamline our wholesale operations for maximum efficiency, flexibility and scalability
- Oversee account set-up, EDI integration, order validation, inventory and fulfillment for our global wholesale partners
- Have ownership over all existing and new accounts vendor manuals making sure we are in line with their guidelines and avoid chargebacks
- Oversee order processing of EDI and non-EDI orders via NetSuite (ERP system) for all retail partners fulfilled by our oversea 3PL partners and domestically owned NJ warehouse
- Build out the process of order validation to account for all potential discrepancies across inventory, pricing and timelines
- Manage comprehensive wholesale calendar to ensure all orders are meeting ship windows effectively
- Be the key liaison to our 3PL partners and NJ warehouse in training, managing upcoming workflow, and overseeing daily throughput
- Manage operational performance through dashboards and reporting
- Work closely with cross functional departments to create effective databases to manage and organize KPIs and reports to be presented to leadership
- Train and upskill other members of the Wholesale Operations team
- The position will be hybrid, with 2-4 visits to our NJ Warehouse a month. Standard working hours to coincide with 9:00 am-6:00 pm EST
WHAT WE WANT TO SEE:
- You have 10+ years of experience in Wholesale Operations
- You have 5+ years of managerial experience
- You are highly detailed and process oriented
- You have a proven track record of leading initiatives and succeeding in a high paced environment
- You demonstrated experience leading and owning cross-functional
programs
- You have effective written and verbal communication skills
- You have excellent project management and time management skills
- Previous experience working in B2B retail operations is required
- EDI experience required
- NetSuite experience preferred
- Ability to arrange personal transportation to our Moonachie NJ warehouse as required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Finance or a related field
