  • Proven experience in document control or a similar administrative role within the construction industry. Preferably, 4 plus years of on the job experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in document management software, ProCore, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of construction terminology, practices, and regulatory requirements is advantageous.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain an organized system for managing construction documents, including contracts, drawings, change orders, permits, and correspondence. Ensure all documents are properly filed, indexed, and easily retrievable.
  • Review, track, and process document revisions, submissions, and approvals. Ensure that all documentation complies with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for document-related inquiries. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to facilitate the exchange and review of documentation.
  • Conduct regular audits of document management processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements and regulatory standards. Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.
  • Generate reports on document status, revisions, and compliance. Maintain accurate records of document distribution and version history.
