Requirements
  • Masters/Bachelors degree required in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineering or Equivalent discipline (EEE, ECE).
  • 10-14 years of total experience in Software QA with at least 2 - 4 years of team management experience in leading.
  • Experience building and leading team(s) of high-caliber QA engineers.
  • Must have successfully delivered complex, demanding projects for large scale SaaS product(s).
  • Experience working in an Agile environment. Experience playing the scrum master for at least one year is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with full product life cycle including post production release support.
  • Experience working with multiple functions including but not limited to Product Management, Program Management, UI/UX design teams, Development, Documentation, Customer Success teams (including Support).
  • Should be experienced in QA best practices including Test Designs and Automation.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and comfortable working with minimal specifications.
Responsibilities
  • Drive the execution and QA delivery of features by collaborating with program managers, product owners, engineers (Dev & QA), architects and other cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to align on business objectives, priorities, trade-offs and assess risks, if any.
  • Take critical decisions for the team whenever required to result in a successful product delivery.
  • Should foresee issues and prevent/resolve them at the earliest opportunity.
  • Work following Agile development methodologies using various related tools, like JIRA.
  • Ensure the team is motivated, focused on priorities and have all the needed resources for successful execution. Should encourage and be a role-model for the team to go above and beyond.
  • Represent the QA team in business related discussions and articulate business values of the team’s contributions in larger business-focused forums and/or to senior management.
  • Drive technical excellence and high quality deliverables. Should constantly think for the future by building the right infrastructure at the right time.
  • Provide guidance, career development and coaching to team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for coordination, planning, design decisions, and reviews.
  • Should stay up to date by studying trends in quality management.
  • Hire, train and mentor new joiners.
  • Conduct smooth on-boarding activities for new members.
  • Work on the products to gain hands-on experience.
  • Constantly monitor and enhance the overall QA processes.
  • Conduct monthly 1-1’s with the team and provide clear feedback on – what’s going good and what needs to be improved.
  • Constantly motivate the team to make sure they stay focused & gel together within and across departments.
  • Regularly meet with Product Manager’s, services & support leads to identify bottlenecks or gaps in the process and work on enhancing them.
  • Work with the Documentation team to improve the product documentation.
  • Work with the Customer Success team on customer escalations and the overall process to provide the right guidance both to internal & external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the team follows the various auditing processes and meets the compliance standards.
  • Explore and conduct a feasibility study on new QA tools available in the market.
  • Prepare and monitor the automation timelines to ensure optimal test coverage.
  • Work closely with NetSuite during their phased release of new versions by making sure the team tests all the Celigo products on the new release and by logging support cases with NetSuite on the issues identified.
  • Prepare required reports and participate in 3rd party audits or due-diligence meetings.

  • Has demonstrated the ability of thinking big, bringing new ideas, building teams & infrastructure for the future.
  • Learns quickly; must know when to listen, and when to take charge.

Celigo has launched Celigo Ora, a natural language interface that enables teams to build and manage enterprise automation without specialist expertise. The platform, powered by specialised AI agents, allows users to design integrations, troubleshoot errors and manage operations through conversational prompts whilst maintaining governance and auditability.
