Position Description:
The University of Louisville School of Dentistry is seeking to hire a Unit Human Resources Specialist III. The position performs a wide range of HR administrative functions including talent acquisition, consultation, data analytics, employee training and development and project management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide full cycle talent acquisition to meet hiring and onboarding processes for faculty and staff.
Provide HR support to faculty and staff.
Provide HR consultation and guidance to ULSD staff, faculty and leaders.
Analyze data trends and metrics and prepare monthly and quarterly reports.
Research, monitor, and enforce policies to ensure compliance with applicable internal policies/procedures and legal requirements.
HR project management.
Liaison with main campus HR to administer FMLA, workers compensation and benefits.
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
Facilitate training and development plans on a variety of human resources topics and maintain records of participation.
Participate in employee engagement planning and execution.
Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.
Assist with payroll duties as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in human resources or related field and 4 years of experience.
SHRM or HRCI certification.

Target Compensation Maximum:
$77,600.00
Target Compensation Minimum:
$51,700.00
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
