  • The role requires deep familiarity with value-based care models, chronic care management, remote patient monitoring, or similar care delivery frameworks.
  • The role requires strong analytical skills and hands-on experience using data tools such as SQL, Tableau, Looker, or Excel to define key performance indicators, run analyses, and inform strategy.

  • The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, Marketing, or a related field.
Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end patient engagement and retention strategy across the full lifecycle, from initial onboarding and early activation through sustained program participation and graduation.
  • Develop and manage a Patient Lifecycle Model that enables segment-level targeting, behavioral nudges, and lifecycle-stage interventions tailored to chronically ill populations.
  • Define, track, and report on retention key performance indicators, including enrollment conversion, 30/60/90-day retention rates, program completion, session attendance, disenrollment drivers, net promoter score, and patient-reported outcomes.
  • Build and iterate on proactive outreach programs and re-engagement campaigns to identify at-risk patients early and intervene before disengagement or disenrollment.
  • Partner with clinical teams, including nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, exercise physiologists, and care managers, to embed engagement best practices into daily care workflows and touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape patient-facing features, communication tools, and platform improvements that drive habitual engagement and reduce friction.
  • Work with the Growth and Partnerships team to align acquisition messaging with realistic program expectations, improve the quality of incoming referrals, and reduce early-stage attrition.
  • Coordinate with Finance and Analytics to quantify the revenue impact of retention improvements and build data-informed business cases for new initiatives.
  • Establish a rigorous measurement framework for engagement and retention that produces actionable insights influencing clinical and operational decisions.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis of patient churn through data mining, patient surveys, exit interviews, and clinician feedback, and translate findings into concrete process improvements.
  • Design and run A/B tests, cohort analyses, and pilot programs to validate engagement hypotheses before scaling.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engagement and retention team, including specialists in patient outreach, lifecycle marketing, and engagement analytics.
  • Champion a patient-focused culture across the organization and ensure the patient voice informs strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Report directly to executive leadership and provide visibility into engagement health and strategic recommendations at the board level.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Master's degree, including an MBA, Master of Public Health, or Master of Health Administration, or equivalent advanced training is preferred.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or venture-backed environment is preferred.
  • A background in behavioral science, behavioral health, or health behavior change frameworks such as COM-B, the Transtheoretical Model, or motivational interviewing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid populations, particularly older adults with multiple comorbidities such as COPD, CHF, or other chronic cardiopulmonary conditions, is preferred.
  • Experience with customer relationship management and engagement platforms such as Salesforce Health Cloud, HubSpot, Iterable, or comparable tools is preferred.
  • Clinical licensure or a clinical background, such as registered nursing, respiratory therapy, or a Master of Public Health with clinical rotations, is a meaningful plus but not required.

AnsibleHealth provides telehealth care for COPD through a virtual-first platform that connects patients with a multidisciplinary COPD team for at-home management, including telemedicine visits and remote pulmonary rehabilitation. The service follows a coordinated care model where patients access a digital platform for consultations, rehab exercises, education, and self-management support from clinicians and care coordinators, with options for remote monitoring. Revenue comes from insurance partnerships that cover the services, helping to minimize or eliminate patient co-pays. The approach differs from competitors through its virtual-first delivery, broad insurance coverage, and an engaged patient community with bi-weekly peer support and an educational blog. The goal is to expand nationwide within two months while continuing to grow insurance partnerships and patient-support programs to improve COPD care at home.
