Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales performance to meet or exceed sales forecasts within the assigned territory while following compliance guidelines and calling on predominantly primary care healthcare professional offices and select primary care targets through in-person and virtual interactions.
  • Develop product and disease-state knowledge and educate and engage healthcare professionals about clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy and safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
  • Use assigned budgets effectively to achieve territory objectives and customize discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
  • Function independently with sales proficiency to meet or exceed sales forecasts and assigned budgets against therapeutic and territory expectations.
  • Maintain an understanding of the local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers, and share relevant information with internal stakeholders.
  • Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers and the region, and identify and select appropriate programs and resources for each customer, practice, or system.
  • Provide special education to healthcare providers through programs that comply with ethical guidelines.
  • Work with the District Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that achieves business objectives.
  • Capitalize on formulary approvals and other business opportunities through effective implementation of the strategic plan.
  • Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialist II employees on shared objectives and best practices.
  • Maintain timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample reporting, and expense reporting.
  • Meet or exceed all Neuroscience Sales Representative deliverables.
  • Create and build a compliant business plan based on the depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources, and products.
  • Complete all assigned company and job-related training within the required timelines.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, and/or medical devices.
  • Antipsychotic and/or bipolar sales experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence through exploration, iteration, and applying new tools over time.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to evolving environments, including telemedicine and virtual work environments.
