- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Five to seven years of experience in change management, operations support, and process improvement are required.
- Experience in contract research organization, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology drug development is required, or demonstrated competency in the key areas of the role.
- Strong drug development experience and understanding of other functions relevant to the position are required.

- Plan and manage initiatives and activities designed to improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of study delivery to sponsors.
- Develop and implement processes, change-management plans, standards, and operational plans to achieve operational excellence across the business.
- Support activities within the Business and Operational Excellence group, including process improvement, training-content support, and development and deployment of change-management initiatives.
- Support continuous improvement in operational excellence across all activities.
- Lead the evaluation of business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement or automation under supervisor direction.
- Participate with stakeholders in root-cause problem-solving to identify core process challenges.
- Support recommendations for process improvement, using subject-matter experts for critical input.
- Partner with cross-functional leadership to prioritize improvement opportunities and support strategic initiatives.
- Partner on the design and implementation of new business processes while considering organizational context and priorities.
- Lead change-management initiatives, assess impacts on roles, and deploy communication and other tactics to support adoption and sustainability of process changes.
- Lead internal communications to update stakeholders on progress, performance, key issues, and blockers affecting business attainment or critical program and project completion.
- Identify operational risks and lead implementation of mitigation plans.
- Ensure or lead business-process documentation.
- Work with leadership to establish key performance metrics and dashboards for monitoring operational performance.
- Provide training insight and guidance to teams on new processes and how to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support standardized best practices and processes across the organization to ensure consistency and sustainability.
- Monitor, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of new initiatives and processes, making adjustments as needed.
- Monitor adoption of process, system, and organizational changes to ensure long-term sustained adoption.
- Prepare and maintain tools and templates to support execution.
- Schedule meetings, take notes, track actions, and travel as needed.
