Responsibilities
  • Ability to work in partnership with senior clients to develop annual strategies
  • Establish themselves as true business partners, thought leaders and innovators at DEPT
  • Hold recurring meetings with senior leadership on the client side
  • Be the primary relationship holder for the client within DEPT
  • Ensure client satisfaction by regularly communicating with senior decision-makers
  • Lead new business pitches and proposals alongside leadership and growth team
  • Forecast, reconcile and monitor client revenue and profitability
  • Estimate, manage, monitor and reconcile client out-of-pocket funds
  • Understand scope management and escalate scope pacing issues
  • Responsible for financial management of client portfolio revenue
  • Initiate conversations with clients around SOW adjustments
  • Author written SOWs, amendments, and other legal adjustments
  • Lead contract negotiations and oversee the implementation of commercial agreements
  • Pursue cross-sell & upsell opportunities to drive innovation and organic revenue growth
  • Ensure teams are operating effectively and efficiently towards clients goals
  • Work with all craft teams to drive strategies and work that leads clients to the next level
  • Lead, line-manage, motivate and inspire a team
  • Develop and lead process, training, and thought leadership to uplevel the way Account Planners service their clients
  • Review team ways of working and identify opportunities for streamlining or improvement
  • Assess team/client fit and ensure the right talent matched up to the right clients
  • Develop resolution for any cross-channel issues and collaborative roadblocks
  • Settle miscommunication or interpersonal issues within the group
  • Actively develop and manage direct reports’ growth
