Requirements
  • You will bring strong experience as a Business Analyst with a proven track record of delivering across complex projects or programmes
  • You will have an excellent understanding and experience of working within Group Functions such as Finance, Procurement and HR, along with how technology (e.g. SAP ERP, SAP Ariba, Workday) supports and enables these areas
  • You will be confident communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • You will be an analytical thinker, able to interpret data and present meaningful insights to a wide range of business and technology audiences
  • You will be able to identify, document and manage both functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring they support clear business outcomes including scalability, stability and operational effectiveness
  • You will take ownership of challenges, driving them through to resolution, and supporting delivery end-to-end to ensure requirements are understood, traceable and validated through testing
  • You will have experience in analysing and documenting business processes (e.g. BPMN, EPC), and supporting the creation of business cases that clearly articulate benefits, options and risks, with an appreciation of commercial and financial considerations
  • You will bring awareness of industry and technology trends, ideally within the energy sector, and use this to inform thinking and continuous improvement
  • You will demonstrate the safe and responsible use of AI tools, with clear knowledge of when AI use is appropriate and strong awareness of accuracy, bias and compliance. Bringing the ability to design and reuse prompt templates to support consistent, high quality workflow outputs, and skilled in using AI to triage, classify and analyse information within Centrica policy guardrails
  • You will have the strong ability to recognise higher risk scenarios and escalate to governance or security as needed. Alongside this, showing proficiency in enterprise AI co-pilots, knowledge assistants and AI enhanced productivity tools
Responsibilities
  • Shape and define demand, working with stakeholders to take ideas from early scoping through to clear, well-formed business cases that support strategic priorities
  • Lead requirements end-to-end, from discovery and elicitation through to documentation and sign-off, ensuring clarity, quality and alignment to business outcomes
  • Engage and influence stakeholders, acting as the bridge between business and technology to align objectives, challenge thinking and drive the right outcomes
  • Facilitate workshops and drive clarity, running engaging sessions to uncover problems, define processes and agree solutions that are simple, scalable and effective
  • Support delivery across the lifecycle, working closely with delivery, QA and UAT teams to ensure requirements are understood, traceable and delivered as intended
  • Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, coach and mentor team members and enhance the overall quality of delivery across the portfolio
Desired Qualifications
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)

Leeds-headquartered mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) services provider G&H has secured two new decarbonisation contracts with Centrica Business Solutions, marking the latest step in a long-standing partnership focused on delivering greener infrastructure. Under the new contracts, G&H will carry out MEP works at Heartlands Hospital in Birmingham and Hereford County Hospital in Hereford. Richard Tandy, head of projects at Centrica Business Solutions, said: "Clayton Pc is committed to delivering scalable bespoke energy solutions that allow organisations to reach their sustainability goals, as well as reducing their overall energy costs. "G&H's mechanical and electrical expertise, combined with Centrica Business Solutions' capabilities in large-scale onsite, behind-the-meter energy solutions, will enable these organisations to progress towards a greener, fairer future."
