Requirements
  • 5 to 15 years of experience in transportation engineering
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in transportation, civil, or electrical engineering
  • Florida Professional Engineer’s (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6-months of employment
  • Proven track record of business development
  • Proficiency in FDOT, MUTCD, and AASHTO design standards
  • Experience with preparing and reviewing signing, striping, traffic signal and lighting plans
  • Familiarity with safety countermeasure selection and design
  • Familiarity with mobility issues in transportation engineering
  • Strong communication skills
  • Interest and experience with mentoring and training staff
Responsibilities
  • Lead business development efforts and nurture client relationships
  • Lead and manage engineering and planning studies
  • Perform field work for site review and construction support
  • Prepare conceptual designs and PS&E for transportation projects
  • Manage client interactions and community engagement
  • Engage in mentoring and knowledge sharing with staff
