Requirements
  • 4+ years experience developing firmware using embedded C.
  • Experience with ARM MCUs, flash programming.
  • Experience with SPI, I2C, JTAG, QSPI, AHB/APB/AXI.
  • Experience with embedded TCP/IP, e.g. LWiP, ethernet PHYs.
  • Experience with RTOS.
  • Familiarity with Linux and low-level software interfaces.
  • Familiarity of schematics, datasheets, circuit diagrams.
  • Familiarity with Python, git, Bash.
  • Familiarity with MCU development tools and vendor IDEs.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the choice in MCU platform to develop with by leveraging experience and market familiarity.
  • Lead the software architectural design of a new embedded firmware project which includes a network stack, peripheral interfaces, real-time operating systems, communication with and reconfiguration of an FPGA.
  • Develop a framework for code reusability across subsystems.
  • Collaborate with system designers and system architects to design and implement this firmware.
  • Advise schematic and PCB designers on MCU implementation.
