Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a business, scientific, or healthcare discipline
  • Strong experience of proposal and/or contract development experience
  • Past experience in a CRO environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under time pressure
  • High proficiency in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft applications
Responsibilities
  • Develop complex client focused budgets and proposals for the conduct of Phase I-IV clinical trials
  • Provide overall accountability for the Request for Proposal (RFP) process and deliverable
  • Complete complex budget and proposal deliverables with promptness, accuracy, and minimal direction from line manager
  • Coordinate and lead core RFP development meetings
  • Communicate, review, and negotiate with all partners and third-party vendors during the RFP development process
  • Ensure accuracy and quality control of budget and proposal text edits
  • Respond to client questions regarding proposed budget and operational strategy via written and verbal communications
  • Assist in the maintenance of departmental records and internal and intercompany reporting requirements
  • Participate in departmental initiatives
  • May assist in training of lesser experienced team members
  • May perform peer reviews providing guidance and comments as necessary
  • Other duties as needed
